SAM’S CLUB OPEN HOUSE
Sam’s Club was transformed to a tropical paradise for their annual Tiki Party. With lots of fresh flowers and rose petals on the tables, it was like being in on a tropic isle. As always the staff and management were hospitable and helpful. This made for a very relaxed setting for networking and enjoying the fantastic breakfast spread which also included many healthy items. It was great to see so many members and guests join the festivities especially at seven thirty in the morning. This is always a wonderful event and a marvelous way to start the day. Thank you again to the staff and management of Sam’s Club for a job well done.

A huge thank you to Chuck, Bryan and the staff of Gordon Food Service for the warm welcome and for making us all feel right at home. Many attendees were unaware of the outstanding quality and variety of fresh and frozen foods that GFS stocks. The food sampling was enjoyed by all. Thanks again for the great event, the great food, and the great networking. I am sure that there is a special thank you from the lucky attendee who received a $25 gift certificate. What a neat way to kick off the spring season. We also saw a lot of shopping bags leaving the store! Holiday Inn Dayton Mall and Wings Open House
Poolside at the Holiday Inn Dayton Mall was the colorful and lively setting for the first Chamber Open House of the year. The crowd was entertained by a caricature artist and we all learned more about the local Wings Chapter of the IAAP, who with the Holiday Inn Dayton Mall and The South Metro Chamber sponsored the event. The conversation was lively and that there were some potential business relationships that may develop as a result. The refreshments were enjoyed by all and a very special thanks goes to the following that so graciously made donations to the spread. The treats from Sam’s Club, Gordon Food Service, LaRosa’s Pizza, Honey Baked Ham, The Holiday Inn and `ele were great. There was also a plethora of door prizes donated by the Wings Chapter, The Holiday Inn Dayton Mall and the Homewood Suites. A very special thanks to the Wings Chapter and the Holiday Inn for another fantastic Chamber event.

Farmers and Merchants Open House
A huge Thank You to Clint, Pete and Shon, from Farmers and Merchants Bank for hosting the last South Metro Chamber Open House of the year. For the sixty or so that braved the dark and cold it was well worth it. The mimosa’s and food were delicious. The Holiday Spirit was in the air and the food donation bins were quite full thanks to those who attended. As a thank you each donor was rewarded with a commemorative state quarter set. It was also good to see so many people networking and making new friends and contacts. Thank you again to Farmers and Merchants for hosting a marvelous event.
