Holiday Inn Dayton Mall and Wings Open House
Poolside at the Holiday Inn Dayton Mall was the colorful and lively setting for the first Chamber Open House of the year. The crowd was entertained by a caricature artist and we all learned more about the local Wings Chapter of the IAAP, who with the Holiday Inn Dayton Mall and The South Metro Chamber sponsored the event. The conversation was lively and that there were some potential business relationships that may develop as a result. The refreshments were enjoyed by all and a very special thanks goes to the following that so graciously made donations to the spread. The treats from Sam’s Club, Gordon Food Service, LaRosa’s Pizza, Honey Baked Ham, The Holiday Inn and `ele were great. There was also a plethora of door prizes donated by the Wings Chapter, The Holiday Inn Dayton Mall and the Homewood Suites. A very special thanks to the Wings Chapter and the Holiday Inn for another fantastic Chamber event.

Quintessential Advisors Receives 2009 Best of Dayton Award
WASHINGTON D.C., June 8, 2009 — Quintessential Advisors has been selected for the 2009 Best of Dayton Award in the Insurance Agents & Brokers category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).
The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2009 USCA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

Visceral Gallery Open House
Visceral Gallery was hung with beautiful paintings and displayed ceramics from two well known regional artist, Doug Fiely and Steve Smith at the October 15th Open House. There were new faces and old friends enjoying networking and out of this world goodies from Savona. Personally my favorite was the Tuna Taco. Steve and Doug mingled and were very informative as well as humorous in their conversations. Thank you, Francine and Terry for opening up this great venue for the event.
