Individual Health Insurance now Available to Chamber Members

HealthCare for One (www.hcfor1.com) and the Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance (SOCA) announces a new partnership under which HealthCare for One will offer individual health insurance to SOCA members. Under this agreement, HealthCare for One will begin offering individual health plans effective 4/1/08 to the approximate 88 Chambers throughout South West and Central Ohio.

The goal of this relationship is to offer a breadth of affordable individual health insurance products and services to SOCA members via the Chambers web site. “This initiative is a tremendous opportunity for HealthCare for One to work with SOCA in transforming the uninsured landscape for thousands of Ohioans,” said John Carroll, chairman and CEO of HealthCare for One. We understand the substantial value that SOCA provides to its growing member base, particularly the 1 million uninsured Ohioans, who are increasingly burdened by the growing complexity and increasing cost of health care.

HealthCare for One’s offerings under the agreement will include respected carriers like Aetna, Anthem, American Community, HumanaOne and Medical Mutual. This will give individuals and SOCA members the opportunity to educate themselves and shop online through a price comparison tool to find the individual health insurance plan that best fits their needs.

In addition to having access to some of the most respected health insurance carriers in the industry, an additional value added benefit will be included with each health plan at no additional cost.
