Economic Development
The City of Springboro is a well-balanced community with a healthy mix of light industrial, commercial and residential neighborhoods. The city boasts of more than 12 residential neighborhoods with a full spectrum of housing styles and prices to choose from, including golf course living at the city’s golf course, Heatherwoode. The city is also home to over 500 businesses, including a wide range of retail shops and professional offices. Retail establishments, medical, and other professional service providers are located primarily along State Routes 73 and 741, the two principal streets in Springboro. Four industrial parks support a variety of manufacturing, warehousing, printing and distributing companies. Companies come to Springboro because of its ideal location on I-75 between Dayton and Cincinnati, tapping both markets for sales and work force. The city offers tax incentives to industry seeking a place to build a successful business.
