MY SIDE OF THE CONVERSATION

"Bad weather, bad economy, bad government, bad news, bad people, bad timing, bad food, bad hair" - WHATEVER!!!!

I have decided to return to an age old positive thinking routine, get out the proverbial glass of lemonade, and see to it that the glass is always half full..

I refuse to believe that the grass on the other side of my fence is always greener or that darn black cat really did cross my path.

In other words, turn up your filter people! Ignore the barrage of negativity and literally look for the roses!

I do believe your attitude can raise you up or drag you down, and for some reason the down thing comes easier. Wait, not so fast! We will choose happiness anytime!

Yep, these are difficult times, nerves are shot, optimism frayed. But you can make anything better by how you view it! I suggest you find those rose colored glasses, and practice "Pay It Foreword."

You need a break, I need a break, everyone needs a good, happy fat, positive break, so try on POSITIVE for size and maybe we can change these times forever!!

You just could be "a good" results magnate!!

2011 BUSINESS AWARD NOMINATION FORM

NEW FORMAT!

The South Metro Regional Chamber of Commerce will honor one business this year for its excellence and entrepreneurship. The award will be presented at the Annual Meeting and Business Awards Breakfast on October 26, 2011 at the beautiful, Gallery at Yankee Trace. Nominations will be accepted from member city, governments, school districts and from business members in good standing. The Award that will be presented is "Business of the Year award". (There will be one winner) Please make copies of this form and use one form per nomination. All nominations must be signed and dated before September 28, 2011.

Annual Business of the Year Award - Selection by a panel of Chamber members

* Criteria *- This award will be presented to one South Metro Chamber Business members who: Focus's on Customer Service

Consistently demonstrate the highest level of integrity and ethical behavior in business
Set the standard for superior customer satisfaction
